Welcome to WCASS!

Welcome to the Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services (WCASS) website. We have recently redesigned the website to align it with the feedback that our membership shared in our most recent membership survey. When you visit our website, we hope you will find several added features and resources that will assist you in your diverse role as an Administrator of Special Services. The website also serves as a source of information regarding your Board of Directors – who we are and how to contact us – and as a hub for upcoming professional learning opportunities.

We encourage you to not only become a member of WCASS, but also to seek out opportunities to engage and share your expertise and serve within our organization. You have great influence as an Administrator within your school district: your words and action have a significant impact on staff, students, and families. If you become active within WCASS, your influence will extend beyond your school boundaries. As we continue to face several changes and opportunities to enhance how we serve our students and families within public education, your participation and voice within WCASS is needed now more than ever. If you are interested in serving, please go to the “About” tab on our webpage and click on the “Board of Directors” link; you can contact any of our Board members within your region or any of the elected officers.

We are grateful for your membership to WCASS and encourage you to attend the State Superintendent’s Leadership Conference on Special Education and Pupil Services Issues (thank you to WI DPI for allowing us to piggyback on to their conference) as well as the WCASS Winter and Spring conferences. The ability to network with others in our field and to keep up to date on the latest trends in service delivery are both essential in serving our learning communities. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

With gratitude,

Gail Anderson, Executive Director of WCASS
